The Area

Ithaca is an elongated island in the Ionian group, located northeast of Kefalonia and south of Lefkada. Vathi serves as the island's capital. The southeastern part of the island, where this plot is located, is characterised by a deeply indented coastline with numerous inlets, bays, and beaches of varying sizes. The vegetation across the land is typical Mediterranean maquis: oak thickets, wild olive trees, and blackberry bushes extending to the edge of the rocky shoreline.
